Myself, I find doom to be amusing, very much so.

Kinda funny that this game still retains a fanbase.

I really suck at FPS games, but Doom is still awesome

Does Wolf3D count? If so yes.

Doom, however I haven't played to where I become interested yet.

I like Doom 3[: Ressurection Of Evil] better for the monsters, weapons, and graphics, but the classics are still great.

doom 2 = best-tuned deathmatch ever, no doubt about it

s'been years and years since I played doom.

I can't fit in any of the options, but no I haven't played it.

Think Halo, but harder and more disturbing.

Especially once you get past knee deep in the dead (in Doom I)

I've played very little of DOOM, but from what I've seen it's pretty nice. One of my old friends made a DOOM game one time, and it was pretty awesome, too.

I like DOOM. My friend owns Collector's edition and he installed the whole DOOM trilogy to my computer.

I'm even working on two DOOM2 episodes.

...it's not hard at all. Not only that, it's not like Halo at all. Only similarity to Halo is that it's an FPS.

jdoom gets rid of any "ugly graphics" by converting everything into 3D models, but I still like the original. The very first versions have some of the best music I've ever heard in a FPS, even if it is crappy MIDI or soundblaster quality.

Unfortunately I've never really played the PC Doom series all the way through, having only an original Doom95 demo. Sure I've got it ported to the Saturn/PS1/GBA but it's not the same. The 32X port was the only game that I could get to do something in my 32X, if that means anything.

I dunno about the 32X version.... but the PC version had some amazing MIDI.

My first doom was the SNES version and i still like it the most. I think the music sounds way better in it. (and i have an "under construction forever" wad for doom2)

DOOM is very awesome, not just for helping revolutionize (and pratically create) the game mod scene, and for being open sourced, but because it's just way too much fun :D

Apart from levels with only the SSG.

As many of you know i'm a big ZDoom fan so yeah.

Resurrection of Evil kicked ass, even if I beat it in one sitting.

Do love the original Dooms though, even if the single player can't hold up at all.
