Well? Mine would have to be the overworld music from TP while you're riding Epona, it's so epic and sounds so great, and Majora's Mask follows close because I love that rendition of the classic overworld theme for some reason.

Besides the classic Zelda overworld theme introduced in the first game, my favorite is probably the Dark World from ALTTP. It's really powerful, sounding heroic and dark at the same time, and really gives you the feeling that the game is about to heat up quite a bit.

I have an orchestrated version of it that's even more awesome and adds an additional part to the song with a choir.

I hate choosing a favorite; maybe because I can never pinpoint one alone, but I don't think I could have loved Wind Waker's music more than I do. Twilight Princess's overworld is also very nice, though it was sad that it wasn't fully orchestrated. Majora's Mask also had good tracks, and also Link to the Past- I can barely recall anything from the game now, but I remember thinking the game wasn't too special until I got to the Dark World and heard the music, haha music really does affect how you like a game

I agree with klobber abut the Dark World theme. It's pretty filled with power. Otherwise i'm torn between TP and OOT's overworld tunes.

The legendary one from original Zelda. A Link To The Past gets my vote, because it sounds better. Ocarina Of Time comes in close second.

Dark World was when I really started getting into the game too. I liked the first three dungeons, then you get to the Dark World and find out that not only are there about 8 more but the overworld is significantly different too. Really epic. Especially when you consider when the game came out, it's really impressive.

i vote Legend of Zelda (NES) Cuz it's Not only the Best,
it IS the actual Zelda theme.

of course i like it beter remixed with modern style.
or like the Lttp one.

but i vote the classic still.

Please, its quite clear which game your going to vote for if you just played it.

I have not played the Zelda for Wii, but so far the tune from the selection menu for the "Collector's Addition."

I heard a guitar version of the darkworld theme from LttP and it's been my favorite ever since.

A Link To The Past had great overworld music in both worlds

Link's Awakening...that variation of the main theme is just too cool.

I prefer OoT.

Does Wind Waker's town music count?

I couldn;t really choose.

I've always loved Zelda 2's overworld, it's just so awesome for an 8-bit song. But Zelda 3 has some pretty kick-ass tunes, and Link's Awakinging's overworld sounds really nice. I also really like the N64 overworlds.

I've never really taken that much of a liking to WW's overworld, and I've never really heard the one in TP. Couldn't say anything about the original, though.

Also, do the Oracle games have the same overworld as Link's Awakening, or is it different? I forgot.
