(Mario Party 1 because it was the first (duh), 2 because of snazzy costumes , 3 because of new characters and new features) The new Mario Parties are only fun when you play with other people (Hence the name, Mario PARTY) The orbs are pretty stupid. -------------------- Who is the milkman? NO THANKS, BRAT Group: Members Posts: 5506 Member No.: 320 Joined: 9-March 04 Status: (0d)	Mario Party 2 was my favorite for a few reasons. 1) It ditched the control stick rotation mini-games. Those were retarded as hell and more or less ruined controllers. Plus I never even won those mini-games so it was twice as bad. 2) The mini-games were still in their prime, as were the boards. This game introduced battle mini-games, which are awesome ways to completely ruin your competition in 20 seconds flat. 3) There were new items, but not unnecessary ones like reverse mushrooms or cell phones. Mario Party 2 built upon the first and took out those stupid assed control stick rotation games. The mini-games and boards were still original as well. My only complaint was that Mini-Game Island was borderline impossible for me to do without a turbo controller for the button mashing ones near the very end. I honestly can't remember if I ever did beat that one. Mario Party 1 is right behind it, and 3 right behind that. I have other reasons, but I think I've bored you enough already.
