I realise there are more types of gamers and what ever, but specifically out of these two which fits you most? Do you stick with one game company and keep buying from them and only them, or do you spice it up and buy from another game company or even all of them to get the most complete gaming experience needed? When I was younger I was full of bias and went all "nintendo rox sony and microsoft sux", but I got older and more mature, so I went multiplatform and bought both a 360 and Wii, considering they're both great and each have their own ups and downs such as the 360's graphics and online and the Wii's innovative control and classic franchises.

Just because you get consoles from only one company does not mean you're immature. I'm genuinely surprised that you so clearly made that implication.

If you're talking about "one-company" rather than "one-console" in the poll, I am most decidedly a one-company gamer. I don't care about what Microsoft and Sony have to offer in the way of gaming, and I want to give all my support to the company that gave me so much enjoyment since I was little.

Please don't take any offense to this, but I find such a point of view making you reluctant to try new things.

Though I haven't bought anything non-nintendo in a while, I do enjoy a good game on the 360, and I love my Playstation(The original thank you) very much so, even if most of the games I have on it don't work anymore.

Right now I'm pretty much just using my PC, but all the games that I want that are coming out in the near future are all on PS2. Oh wait, on DS too. As for the next gen consoles... I have no commitments. There are a few interesting things on all of the platforms. I was really looking forward to the Wii. But now I see they buggered up the Virtual Console (only PAL games for us Euros? Go the away). Microsoft's XNA thing sounds like the awesomest thing ever for indie gamer wannabes like me. 360 looks good. PS3 is too much moneys. But I want whatever the ICO team makes next. Damn, it (whatever 'it' is) could end up being on PSP. I'm not made of money :'(

I could go back to what was my original plan, before the Wii got me excited: Get a PSP, and a DS (done) and stick with my PC until the beginning of the end of this console cycle. That sounds good again. And it breaks your poll options!

I ment that I was immature in the sense that I didn't even bother giving Sony or Microsoft a chance. It's not immature to not own atleast 2 consoles, but it is immature to not give them a chance like I did.

Same here. Why do I want to play a Sony or Microsoft console, where I won't find games I like?
Unlike other people of my age, I can't stand GTA and violence-ridden games. Go through my entire games collection. The most violence you'll find might probably be in the ROM I have of Zelda OOT.

Therefore it is the ultimate state of immaturity to neglect gaming altogether and buy no consoles, giving nobody a chance.

I'm generally multi platform. Lately I'll admit I've been quite Nintendo orientated - What with my lack of love for FPS/Sports/etc. games, the entire Xbox franchise has never really been my thing (I sold my Xbox because all the good games I wanted were multiplatform and I hated the controllerD:), and with the rising Price Tag of the PS3 and the complete lack of decent games for PSP (I can think of 3... maybe 4), Nintendo has been dominating in my eyes. Maybe it's just an influence from this place.

i just got my 360 not to long ago and i already have more games for it than Wii (7 games as opposed to 4)

I should really do more research into the 360. It's been released a good year and a bit now so it should have at least a few decent games that I'd like...

I'll admit I'm really disappointed with the current Wii lineup. I was hoping/expecting that a few more games would be launch titles - namely Trauma Center and SSBB. :| The trauma center expectation was unfair because it WAS a launch title in the US, but still isn't released here yet. SSBB was due to lack of research and stuff I think :0

Multi. It's perfectly alright if you can't afford more than one console or prefer not to invest in more than one, but "microsoft/sony/nintendo sux" is the lamest reason ever to dislike a system.

No. I just think that people massively overrate it's replayability. :|

Plus I'm looking forward to SSBB more due to MetaKnight and Pit.
