I think a Super Mario Real Time Strategy game would be awesome. Different teams could be the The Koopa Army, Mushroom Kingdom, and others from different Mario games. There are plenty of different characters that could fill different rolls. Such as bullet bill launchers for artillery fire, Pink/Black Bob-ombs for suicide bombers, pirana plants for defensive rolls. If anyone is planning to make a mario game but don't know what type to make it, a RTS would be great.

Sounds cool. A real time strategy game WOULD be awesome. I vote yes.

Mario = Works
RTS + Mario = No

It's been thought up several times and with Intelligent Systems already extremely knowledgeable on how to make strategy games (Fire Emblem, Famicom/Advance Wars), it wouldn't be beyond them at all.

Of course, Nintendo needs to take the initiative and only God knows when they'll get around to thinking, "Oh hey, maybe we should make Mario do THIS now!"
