Only losers still play Guitar Hero.

I mean 2 was cool and all, but when 3 came out it broke the game as it is, the franchise is just about money now not quality, and due to this note charts are bland, boring, and rarely go to the music.

Gitaroo Man has always been amazing though.

A game that can make epic organs, epic percussion, epic trumpets, and epic japanese singing is awesome on my watch.

Oh yeah and don't forget awesome mellow guitar themes.

Also, you guys need to truly experience to see how great a game it is.

Actually, I do like guitar hero, but Gitaroo Man is ust way more awesome.

I play FoF am I safe?

I'd play it if it weren't such a drab clone. Rock Band is where it's at, since note only are note charts structured well and in sync to the song, when songs are difficult in it, it's for the right reason, not just random **** being tossed in at spots or adding extra buttons to hold down. There are some songs in it you're not going to be able to do perfectly, while Guitar Hero 3 leaves so much margin for error that it's alright.

It's also pretty sad seeing Activision taking the friendly request of just making one last Guitar Hero game to now trying to compete against Harmonix for American music game based glory.

Konami will probably be laughing in the end, seeing as Guitar Hero is a ripoff of Guitarfreaks.

I'd say Gitaroo Man is kind of on par with Rock Band. Rock Band can be fun and all, but only with friends, and they have to have some experience, since playing with a lot of people who just fail songs won't be much fun at all.

What I like about Gitaroo man is that It's not exactly just single buttons flying across the screen, it's a bar that curves around that you have to follow. It's just such a big break from all the other rythym games, and it's got AMAZING ORIGINAL songs that aren't usst only geared for kids. Evereybod can have fun with it, and it's got an awesome storyline.

And I'd play Rockband if my brother came home and bought the controllers.

If it had one, it'd be one hell of an awesome game, especially if it resembled the Gitaroo design exactly.

it'd also sell a hell of a lot better, as extra easy to use addon peripherals = $$$

It's true! They make games a lot more fun at times too.

And Julio, cut it slack, it was a release title for the PS2. It actually plays pretty smoothly too, and while it's easy to get into, it's pretty difficult to master.
