You could post just an example of it shaded.

I dunno man, shading would look p. sexy

I like it without shading and agree it could ruin the simplicity.

Make a Super!

Made a few simple, yet effective edits but mostly I just added shading (mine is on the right):

I might get on making small mario soon, and mabye add bros. tactics (luigi squishes mario w/ hammer, ect)

but there definatly will NOT be any shading. i just can;t imagine it.

Don't shade them. That flatness looks so pretty.

Actually, if you could touch up Boo some I think I may end up using these ...! (with your permission of course)

yea, i don't think shading will ever work.
this style also consists of almost no black lines on the inside (like when the arm overlaps, there won't be a black line there) but with exceptions. mouths, 'staches, eyes, ect. don't count. i don't know if i'll add more enemies, i made pirahna plant, and scrapped it. i think i'm only good at goombas (by the looks of it) i'll try to fix boo by starting all over again, so its going to come out smaller, like the goomba size.

style looks pretty nice,

i am against shading on these aswell.

the spike on the goomba's head bugs me though.

Don't try to fix something that isn't broken.

In other words don't shade it, it looks nice as it is.
