| Congratulations to Littlink on winning the sprite competition #164. He's allowing me to start this one! CRAWS -What is a Craw? A Craw is a rare enemy in Paper Mario: TTYD. -Why did you pick him? The MFGG homepage has a HUGE lack of this character. -What does he look like? http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/5462/gus.png -What do we need to do? Create a sheet for your Craw, it must be: -The official regular Craws and/or Dark Craws. -Under 125x125, these should be useable in a game. -Must contain some animation, blinking doesn't count alone. | No offense, but just because it's a rarely sprited character doesn't mean it's a good comp idea. To be honest, I don't think this guy is enough to warrant a whole comp. Something like "Paper Mario Exclusive Enemies" or whatever you'd want to call it would at least give us some different looking entries. All we're gonna get here is a million decently made sheets with the same poses and exact same look. |

See, that's what makes it fun. Besides just being a good spriter, you ave to think of something original to do that will make it stand out from the rest of them. |

Stop complaining about it, i you don't like the competition then go win one and make your own idea you like. If you can't do that you may as well not enter. |

If that were the competition's subject, the Craws still would not have many sheets on the site. You don't have to enter if you don't want to. |

Well put it this way, the site is a resource for mario fangames and such. A user may eventually want to use an enemy like craw and not be able to use it, since it's not there. |

| Also, is it ok if we change the color scheme around a little? The only two actual Craw characters I can find are Gus and dark craw, there's no middle, or no "basic" craw. |

| Its a craw, they dont have to be the exact same as the reference image, they just have to be part of the craw species. EDIT: afaik anyway |

I don't know, I gestured this in a few minutes. I may actually clean the lines, correct the big heads beaak, add some color and make it look somewhat decent. But again, this character doesn't overly interest me, and pixels are mind numbingly dull. MIND YOU THIS IS A WIP. |

If they're incomplete they're usually not put in the voting. Not sure how many entries that would leave right now, but this comp has been going on for way too long. If there are only a few complete entries I say just make a final vote with them. |

So in conclusion, most entries can't make it to the final, and do we even have 5 entries that are animated, not including simple blinking animation. Forgive any typos also, getting late. |
