| Congrats to Shyguy Grey who came in second, and the other participants. Now, shall we move on to the next challenge? This time, it will be a competition based on your imagination, there are no limits! I'll explain further. This is going to be a competition of making your very own video game, and that means a video game mockup. There is no restrictions besides the standards, just make sure to make it with your best effort! Restrictions: - The mockup must be Mario or another character in the Mario universe. - Animations are not required, being a mockup. You can add them! - Try to be original, but stick to the game principles. Maybe include a hud! - There is no colour or size restrictions, but be reasonable. Don't go using 12 shades a colour. Entries are due on July 26th. Good luck and get going! |

No. This is a sprite competition that's made to test ones abilities as a spriter, not your skills and copying and pasting. |

heres mine it was easy for me to do this scince im plannin on making a metroid prime-mario esque game anyway. but i dont plan on starting it anytime soon cos im helping with Mario and luigi 4 im sorry that the quality of the pic is so bad  |

 I was already working on this to submit to MFGG. I think I will add one more enemy, that is, if there is enough content. Anyway, this is Snowman and Fawful UFO in Megaman style. |

When you say you used mario and luigi graphics... Did you make all the sprites in your entry? Because I think I've seen some of them before... |

yep! do you mean the goombas? i know which sprite sheet you seen if it is. it's the one on tsr by A.J Nitro right? no, the goombas in my entry arnt A.J's the buzzys shell is by me and mario, ithink ANYBODY can tell that was made by me. |

Yes, its' an example. It can't be your entry, but that's pretty much a mockup. It's basically: If you were playing a game with these sprites and took a screen shot, what would it looks like? |

well what did you expect? we've already done several mockups before. and not catering on a specific theme just doesnt exactly give people the ethusiasm to work on a entry. |

Don't worry. Just for this competition and how I chose my theme to be desert. Besides, I've been listening to live music all weekend, so I haven't had a huge motivation to sprite, especially because I'm out of the house all day. Fuzzy, thanks for the tip. I'f I get rained out today (from the music) I might actually finish my entry. |

Remember guys, this is a mockupcompetition, meaning your screenshots should look believeable with some actual action going on. So for the other two I was going to vote for, you probally know who you are, yours were well pixeled they just were too boring. |
