Posted by: Kyori Oct 28 2009, 05:12 PM
Shouldn't you post something to start it off? :3

Posted by: Black Boo Oct 28 2009, 05:45 PM
I would but it's not quite done yet...

Posted by: Ludwig22 Oct 28 2009, 05:50 PM
Is it us in our Halloween costumes, or just the costumes?

Posted by: Black Boo Oct 29 2009, 10:17 PM
You in costume.

Medaf, Glacko, Glacko's girlfriend, and I all went to a Halloween party tonight arranged by their college's anime club. There were sweets, games, music, and most importantly... costumes!

Her's the rundown of the night; I'll have more pictures after Halloween -- consider this the teaser trailer.

user posted image

Getting ready to go... Medaf doesn't like photos when he's not in costume.

user posted image

user posted image

There we go! Pose time!

user posted image

user posted image

When we got to the party Glacko (Puutan) and his girlfriend (Anonymous) were there.

user posted image

Rorschach... I think?

user posted image

Ahhh, Glacko is so fuzzy!

user posted image

Hanging around the food tables, which were to the right.

user posted image

Generic Dark Mage costume. Looked kinda cool I guess.

user posted image

Agh! It's like you have eyes in the back of your head!

user posted image

user posted image

Obligatory dance was obligatory for an anime club.

user posted image

Yeah, I imagine Glacko started getting hot in that costume, too.

user posted image

Chu!

user posted image

Just a photo of the main room since I hadn't taken one yet. It was a pretty nice place, actually.

user posted image

The contestants in the costume contest.

user posted image

Third place got this coffin as a "mystery" gift... but what could be inside of it...?

user posted image

Soap and tissues... Oh...

user posted image

First place winner -- not really sure what he was dressed up as, but he scored $25 to Best Buy. Lucky guy!

user posted image

Oh, and, yeah, we got second place. Our prize was kind of ironic, though, since we're vegetarians and all...

user posted image

user posted image

After the party.

More to come after Halloween!

Posted by: Sage Oct 30 2009, 02:10 AM
I had to wade through a ridiculous amount of shitty costumes, but I managed to find an enormous Davy Jones mask (PotC) at the local Halloween store. Discounted to $10 too!

Posted by: Kevin Rudd Oct 30 2009, 02:15 AM
I don't have any costume, nor have I actually ever celebrated it.

Oh, the life of being Australian, where no body cares at all about Halloween. There is a few, but the don't wear costumes nor do they come in any major numbers.

Posted by: Black Boo Oct 30 2009, 11:51 AM
Wow Mrs. A, wish I coulda been there, sounds like it was fun.

I'm gonna see if there aren't any parties around here, but I doubt it.

It's not nice to assume someone is 13, then it end up being true? That's not nice? It's not nice to be able to tell what a person's age is and be correct?

I looked at some evidence (his post), made a hypothesis (he is 13), and my conclusion was that my hypothesis was correct (he IS 13)

Yeah, what Starmang said.

The Flash of the camera really allows my face to be seen through the mask but luckily in a dark pub like the one I was in, all they could see was the mask

Mask itself was surprisingly easy to see through. I had come up with different ideas of seeing through it but in the end, I just put it on and it was fine.

Wasn't it really uncomfortable to breathe through, though? I've worn stuff like that and I've always ended up taking it off because it made me feel like I was suffocating... or overheat.

It got hot after a while, especially while I was indoors. I`d take it off every so often or step outside for a bit. Overall it wasn`t as bad as I thought it would be.

In case anyone is wondering, they were a pair of white female legging things. I cut the leg parts off and hid what was left of them under my hat. Also, here is me playing pool with it
