Dear Mr. Clevenger,

For one of the assignments in my U.S. History class, I have to interview a person who is knowledgeable about an event included in our history book. It didn’t take long for me to decide whom I was going to contact.

Who better to talk about Operation Desert Storm than a newsperson assigned to the region to cover the news during this period? Would you be willing to meet with me for about an hour to discuss the Persian Gulf War? I would like learn more about the following topics:
