This is my entry for Minigame Competition 35. The topic is gravity.

This is just an engine test, of Mario's physics, and some enemies. The engine is not complete for me to make a game yet, but it's just about.

CONTROLS

Arrow Keys: Move

Shift: Jump

#s 1-4: Change the gravity from Normal (1) to none (4)

you can also wallkick by holding the arrow key that faces the wall you want to wallkick off of, and pressing the jump button (shift). In this case, that would be the sides of the level, or the sides of the pipe.

That's all really, other than a few enemies. You can't die yet, but you can get hurt.
Some things aren't included in this test. IF THERE'S A GLITCH, PLEASE TELL ME. I will be updating the topic regularly to update the game's progress.

Pretty good! Like the wall jump. You can make make Mario go up and down really really slow though. If I press 4 at the peak of Mario's jump, he slides up slowly. Then hits the ceiling and falls back slowly. I don't think that's really a problem, though. biggrin.gif

If you're talking about the fact that Mario's jump is from SMW, but the rest is edits by Rapid, I couldn't animate those correctly in GM. I tried to make it only 1 frame because I couldn't, but I didn't like how it looked. I figured his regular jump from Mario World fit better than Rapid's edit.

He's supposed to do that. since there's no gravity, he keeps flying up until he hits the ceiling. But, so there's no problems, I made it to where if he hits the ceiling he can come done.

It's from Super Smash Brothers Brawl, I'll probably change the voices before it's finished.
