Congratulations to Flipiberke for his runnerup and everyone else who participated in the previous competition!

The new competition is all about boss battles - doesn't have to be Bowser, Cackletta or who else Mario fights these days. Doesn't even have to be Mario either! Could be Luigi fighting a ghost boss... who knows!
The theme is boss battles. You can't have a segment of gameplay before the boss, it has to be the boss battle itself only. A definition of a boss battle would be: you, fighting a single strong enemy (though him having baddies help him is alright!).
You have to be clever. Since the boss is the only real enemy on the screen, he needs to be new and exciting. Maybe change patterns once in a while to freshen up, eh?

So grab on to your ideas and sketches, it's time to develop a big baddie!

Rules
- There can only be 1 boss battle. One boss battle. That's many bosses.
- You can only include the boss battle itself. No pre-boss segments. You can have a small hallway before the boss, but not an entire level segment.
- All entries must be submitted before 20th September!

Any entries not following these rules will be disqualifiiiied.

But who knows. Could be fun, could be dangerous, could totally suck.

EDIT: Can the boss fight be a level?

Like it's chasing you through the level and you can attack it along the way.

On topic, can the boss have two stages? Like, in YI and SPP? Bowser, then giant Bowser? That kind of thing?

Either way, I'm gonna give it a try. Might put some actual effort into it, at that.

The boss can have several stages as long as it is the same boss and the focus still being on the boss

Since when is the MGC Top Five badge a 3rd place badge?

I'm sure I gave you that when you were fourth of fifth, so keep it. I think on the new board they are really top five badges anyway.

Can I make the boss push you back to the boss entrance like the bosses did the wario land 2?

of course you can, that's a silly question. As long as you follow the above rules you should be fine - you don't have to ask me specifically on every single thing you do

So by one boss, It means I can't have Mario fight against two characters at the same time? Of course, they'll act as a team (eg. they'll do moves that require both of them to do an action of sorts).
