Before we get to the subject at hand, congrats to Cinossu for getting second place and the rest of the entries for entering and having awesome submissions!


Okay, now onto the next music competition, this one shall be interesting. Pikaboo and I call it "If you were the composer..."


Basically, you're going to come up with an original composition for a particular game. It's going to be Mario Kart 64 this time. No specific track, you choose. Go onto YouTube and find videos of your favourite track, or play the game yourself, and turn off the volume. Don't ever think about what song is on that track, your job is to create your own original piece that fits that.

Think about how you would have done the music for the game if they asked you to make the music for it.


Make sure when you submit it, that you specify what track you made the song for.

And is calling dibs here necessary? Just saying because it seems like there are a limited amount of tracks. Then again, there's a small number of participators, no?

Hello to everybody I haven't met! I'm sure that's all of you, but you never know.

Is there a length limit to how long our music must be? My pieces tend to be 15 minutes to an hour, but I shall try and keep it limited to three minutes or such for this song.

NO but it makes you look flasy and edgy PLUS if you call dibs you seem to have somewhat the upper hand for that particular song!

Besides, I don't actually think we ever have enough people to make calling dibs on a song valid since there'll probably be some songs which won't be remixed in the end anyway due to the lack of contestants

I thought so. I'm just so used to calling dibs on a Drawing or Minigame Competition because I'm afraid people will take the idea and I'll have to make a new one. (^-^)
