The
IGN page of Super Mario Galaxy is reporting that the game will be handled by Nintendo's rather small Tokyo Development House, rather than the astronomically sized Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development.
To those unaware, many new members of Nintendo interested in game development, are transferred to the Tokyo office, as to where the other research and development houses are comprised of senior members. Nintendo Tokyo EAD is the youngest internal division of Nintendo, and the most recent and only game created by the division was "Donkey Kong Jungle Beat".
It's nice to see that Nintendo is passing on intellectual properties like a full-fledged Mario platformer for rising game developers to work on, instead of just handing them the resources needed to make a new Donkey Kong Bongo game, or a new Wave Race.
