Sprite Competition #78 - REX, it's a dinosaur

Heh. This Week's theme is REX. First appearing in Super Mario World, these gormless, purple, flightless winged dinos with compressable spines don't quite live up to their kingly name. But we love them anyway. The traditional animations are walking, squashed and semi-squashed. There's no reason our friend Rex couldn't have many more hidden talents. Perhaps one day he might use those wings. That day could be today! OMG! Make as much or as little animation as you please. And draw it how you like. It should be a recognisable Rex sprite of course, but who's to say all Rexes (Rexi?) look identical... References @ Mario Monsters Competition Start: 24 May Competition Finish: 31 May (...I think...) If this so happens to be a repeat, it's an ancient one that didn't get into the archive.
