Not to me. I think it looks like a pretty good Rex edit, even if it is pretty Yoshi-like.

It's just a Yoshi recolor with small addons.

Rex is not a Yoshi recolor. It's built differently. Rex's arms are short, unlike what you have there. Rex itself is also shorter than Yoshi. It also has lines on its stomach and such. I also think its snout is too short. Take a look at the reference pic in the first post.

The colors seem a bit too light to me as well... There is much room for improvement on your edit. And I hope you accept my advice.
