Dragon experiment V

Conclusion of my 5-part series of drawing dragons just to practice at it...now wait just a minute...before you complain to me and say "why aren't you drawing any more dragons?" keep in mind that this is not the last dragon I'm ever going to draw, no no no, far from it. In fact, the dragon experiments are just me LEARNING how to draw dragons, and after this I will probably make some dragon characters that'll fit into a story I'm working on for Masakuni. And yeah about him, I'm probably going to draw his dragon form at that too.

Oop...I rambled on like I do sometimes didn't I? Sorry bout that >.=.< that happens at times...well anyway, I drew this during a free period since we were doing nothing in Spanish class, and it was the last class I ever had my sophomore year, so I drew this, then I took it home, and the next day when I looked for it I found my dad trashed it...I was kinda angry but he managed to get it out of there. Then I scanned it, and then worked on it, and here it is! This is a weird dragon I'll have to admit...I drew the legs and feet kinda weird and he has no hands...only wings...but then again, this is kinda alright in my eyes...C+C pls

I'm not going to lie: the foot behind it is bad. Other than that, this is the best dragon you've drawn. Very nice work, Masakuni.

NO Body, not really a story, just series of drawing experiments. ^^;

I will once I sit down to write it, which'll probably be sometime in the near future, I haven't decided...

Pretty good but the foot isn't that great and it looks a little akward without arms in my opinion.

Okay, I'm not going ot lie to you: It... sucks.

You need some serious improvement. First, theres a wing coming out of it's ass? ... skjahfjksd sorry but I found that hilarious. Practice with the wing placement. The feet: one is too long and the back one is overlaping, plus it just looks creepy. the head looks flat and misformed. the theeth and mouth look strainge and the tail looks more like a chamelions, it should get smaller. If you truly want to improve then take a brows through Deviant art or google some extreamy awsome pictures of dragons. Start by tracing and exzamaning the picture IN GREAT DETAIL. Notic how the lins go and the anatomy of the pictures. also, shading helps a lot, A LOT. It makes a simple 2D picture into a 3D masterpeics sometime. just crack PSP or download the GIMP and start messing with the air brush and other paint tools.use the dodge and burn. Right now it looks like an 8 year old drew it. I mean it's starting to shape up SLIGHTLY, but you need to take a couple art classes as well online or at school. Anyway, after tracing start trying to aply the skils they used. Don't take anythin as a small error because that could lead to a horrible picture. Good drawing take up from 30 min to 2 hourse on line art. coloring last for up to 4 hours or even days. You need a lot of pacients with these things and from your recent drawings it just looks like your rushing it to get it over with and thats never good if you're serious about it. Huraa for my crap spelling. Take into accoung depth, and texture. I could go on but I really need to think more on it to make more proper critisizem.

Wow it actually looks a bit like that... more than a dragon at least.

Anyway you need some serious light source. The little bit of shading it has, doesn't look right at all.

..............................................................uh. uber has a point about that there: don't count anything as a "small" error. The small things lead up, and ignoring things makes a lazy artist. :O I always keep that in mind.
