Man gets mauled by lions trying to disprove God

My religion tells me if you use God in a game, or try to judge God... nothing will ever happen.



I have my own beliefs, some are against my own religion.

This is nothing more than an oppurtunity to take a pot-shot at religion. A failed one like what Bungalo said since it didn't prove anything, except that the guy was stupid and lions like meat =/

It may be so, but it's one hell of a good opportunity to take a pot-shot at religion.


And by the way, isn't christianity, uh, the LARGEST religion on earth? you're hardly oppressable.

It is a good oppurtunity, but it's not very logical when you think about it. For christians, the Bible says God won't come to your rescue if you willingly do stupid things like this. Atheist just don't believe in God at all. There's nothing really to take a shot at regardless of what this man's intentions were, although people will do it anyway.

As for Christianity being opressable, probably not, but I feel it's definetly losing its footing it had :p

Christianity need to go back to ruling countries.

its one big opportunity to be laughed at by other Christains.

All for the better; religion is only the product of man's insecurity to his own purpose, and his fear of having no reason for living.

God or no God, there is no reason to live. It doesn't matter if there is a God or not; it doesn't matter if this world and its pretended God were simply to disappear.

So yeah.

This guy tried to reenact the story of Daniel.

The truth of the matter is, however, Daniel and the lions made peace and ordered pizza.

Thanks for calling everyone that has a religion a dumbass.

God let him die for many reasons clearly.

• 1. If he saved him most athiests if not all would find it amazing and convert.
• 2. People would become dependent on god, (well at least stupid people like this guy)
• 3. By not saving him, most poeple stay the same. I still believe in God, and I'm sure old crusty christians'll still follow God.

but I'm just ranting. anywho what a chump.

My reason for living is that I want to live. And there's a lot else I want, and for the most part they all depend on me being alive. That's a good enough reason for me.

EDIT: I probablly should not say that. Because I was kinda serious. But whatever.

Yep. Kinda.

But also because I was in a bad mood and I didn't feel like debating in a civilized way.

But mostly to piss people off.

I feel bad for this guy. You guys are trying too hard to be funny on this one. Seriously, be quiet if you have nothing smart and moral to say.

Question I ask, is why do people believe in god?

I have felt alone in my own mind all my life. I have never heard the voice of god, I have not seen any angels, or anything like that. Therefor, not seeing any change/instance of reality from god, I can conclude god does not exist. So, what people are telling me, is that I should believe in blind faith? Nope. I will be completely moralistic, I will do what is right, but I simply cannot believe in god when there is no evidence. And when I mean evidence, I mean anything that can directly connect me to the fact that god exists (I.E. Seeing, hearing, feeling, ect, NOT anything with a chance AT ALL that it could have been made by chance alone.).

Try to examine what I think when I wrote this.
