Anime - step forward

I realise a lot of my pics look very much the same, so I wanted to make the next one a lot more like some of the more professional anime art (chances are I won't succeed, but anyway ^^; )

Here's a sketch of the anime character I'll be using:



Pretty rough at the moment, but you can see how the hair is a lot more defined in this one, plus I actually got the hands to look right (oh my god!)

I'll be colouring it soon. Hope you like it!

I would give this a 10 out of 10 but I think the tails and ears ruin everything so it gets a zero

Lol, I think the tail kinda sucks actually. In the newer lineart I have it going down so it doesnt look weightless O_o;

Now for the Crits.

Fingers, WAY to thin, thicken the base a bit, add overlay between them

Hair, too much action, simplify the lines.

Ears, Off balance.

Clothing, Too many folds that don't make sense.

now that thats done, it's a good pic, and you have potential to become a great artist, but.. You need work, not much, but it's the tough stuff to master.

Good work (can't i say anything else? ) You should ink it. I'd not call it anime though.
