So Starfox is ruined even more now, If that's possible (SPOILERS)

As far as comics and continuity goes, the Nintendo Power ("Croakella") is not considered canon due to it's sheer awkwardness in relation to how the Star Fox universe is currently set up. However, "Farewell, Beloved Falco" is considered canon by most fans because it fills the void between SF64 and SFAdventures while maintaining the correct atmosphere (for the most part, despite Peppy going overboard now and then).

And thus the whole game is ruined because one person is upset about this.

Does anyone else but me find that "she gave me my first wart" line a bit risque?

You're saying this to me? You're the one whining because one minor thing and assume the whole game is gonna blow because of it.

He still kinda is on the team, as long as he gives those "Hit the weak spot on its face" comments.

So...presumably because you're the creator of the thread we have to agree with exactly what you say, and your points (that are illogical to the majority of us, might I add)? That doesn't seem fair. If you're going to make your first post as you did, then I think you should expect members to not agree with you, which Delmore simply did.

But also, why is it so dearly important that Peppy remain flying beside you? If I can recall, the team AI in every Starfox game was terrible, hardly helpful, and most of the time got in your way in all range mode. Why does it denote the game a mess if specifically Peppy (and other slightly trivial elements) is no longer on your team? Do you want to hear "do a barrel role" or "look out fox it's a trap" every few seconds? Was it even CONFIRMED if there will be voice acting in this?

It seems like you created the topic thinking that everybody would agree with you, and if they didn't, you would rebutt them.

And finally, WHY may I ask you are expecting continuity in a Starfox game? I thought Starfox was always notorious for having little of a storyline. If you're looking for back-bending character development, and continuity then read a book. Starfox was never about that.

Actually, I was referring to myself.

I really don't like Starfox that much.. The rason why is becaues in Lylat Wars, they actually tried to make a dramatic story, and the character you were controlling was animals... Which made the whole thing silly... What I did like about the game is that it's fun to kill the bosses and stuff.

i still hate slippy and i wanted him to die in assult infact i lost alot because he wouldent shut up and i was shooting him, i let him die i beat the game 100% allreaddy but still kill slippy ... and his dad (basicly slippy with a stauche) i hate the voices slippy should just stick the to the classic star fox text "Fox, You got bogies on your tail".

Actually, he analyzes your enemy and gets their HP, so he does do something.

I like the idea of the Star fox team changing as the series progresses. It's a nice touch.

I'm just sad to see Peppy go, he was one of those father figures in the game. I don't give a rats ass for Do a Barrel Roll or anything like that. And it's not like the new person is going to NOT get in the way. :p
