The only real answer is:

there may be, but it canīt be proven (because of insane distanses).

the second nearest star (after the sun) is at five light years away from earth

light year is distance that light travels in a year

speed of light is 300 000 kilometers per second (just calculate it)

did I spell light correctly

and one mile is 1,6 kilometers

I think that the aliens, the "Greys" are nothing more than a dream of the mind.

There ARE aliens. The universe is too damn big to not say that. There are NO aliens that have visited earth.

If we ever found aliens, chances are they would be, well, very wierd.

For example, Organisms with organic wheels, or living crystals, or jellyfish-like creatures that float on the cloud banks of gas giants.

Or, another theroy, is that life would be SIMILAR to ours, like those red cells in the other topic of mine.

But, chances are, we have MADE aliens, on planets we have already visited.

Ever heard of Forward-Contamonation?

If we most likely find an alien planet, it would be very advanced. Few chances are that they'll be as advanced as us in the observable universe. That might cause problems, see: The alien planet uses technology far advanced than ours. If an alien planet is using old technology to find primitive planets like ours (Which would most likely send a primitive method of communication) the alien planet might be hostile; looking for weaker planets to take over.

Aliens are monsters, and the bible says, "Monsters do not exist." So, there you go. Aliens don't exist. Or at least I think they don't exist.

What?

1) /Where, in the bible does it say that monsters do not exist. What about the beast that the W**** of Babylon rides on? (Yes, I do know some bibical stuff.)

2) Why would you relate to the bible to answer if there are aliens in this universe?

3) What is defined as a monster?

Considering there's a couple other billion stars out there, at least one has to have a planet with these same conditions.
Also, the Bible is a work of fiction that serves as a moral guideline, so nothing it claims is completely true.

Well, if I was on topic, I would say that we would never find an alien planet more primitive than ours, since chances of communication would be nill.

If these organisms however used technology greater than ours, we can never communicate through them since our technology is so young.

Sorry =/

Most creatures who own Hostile planets don't use their home planet as means of executing raids and what not, since it can be easily destroyed with weapons and whatnot ; Trillions of miles of where it is, They usually build their own a high defense space station shaped like a planet to execute these raids. Sort of like a decoy; If it was destroyed, by means of opposing planets or by natural causes, they can simply build another one in the home to take over. But they move it to somewhere else than first planned for safety purposes and to avoid their opposition. This is why they can exist without destroying themselves. They destroy the decoy, not themselves.

OR WHE COULD BE THE SUPERIOR LIFEFORMS.
Like, waaaay later we go to another galaxy with humans that are just alot less smart and we help them.
OR something other than humans.
wink.gif
By the way, alien means a living thing from another place that we don't know of.
Apparently "we" doesn't include the goverment...
So like what if nice lifeforms were on mars or something...

Neanderthals? Neanderthals didn't have any form of intergalatic communication so you're not making sense. =/

If we found it on our own, the amount of hazards out there in finding them and returning would be too much than it's really worth
