What are some good arcade/gba/snes fighting games?


I'm bored, and for some reason I feel like playing that genre of game.

If I wanted recomendations on good sidescrolling shooter beatemup things I would have asked for them. But I didn't.

The GBA has like....no good fighting games.

As for SNES, there's always the Street Fighter games, Mortal Kombat 2 (the only good one), Clayfighter, and if you really feel like playing something hilariously bad, Shaq-Fu.

OH, and there's a decent Gundam Wing fighter on the SNES.

Street Fighter 2, of course! Also, TMNT Tournament Fighters which was a lot like Street Fighter 2 but you had to practice a lot to learn how to initiate combos.

True. But I never really thought of it as a fighter so much as an adventure game with Bosses....

Shak fu is definetly stupid. I can't beleave i still have it in my genisis.

Rockman 2 The Power Fighters was kinda fun. Short and easy, but fun. Originally for the Arcade, but you can pick it up as part of the Megaman Anniversary Collection on the GC and PS2...that is, if you can take out all the Robot Masters in Megaman 1-8...

Spoilers:

Killing Magnetman (or Needleman) in MM3 gets you Power Fighters. Killing Junkman in MM7 gets you Power Battle. Of course, there is also a possibility that this may be somewhat screwed up since I easily forget which arcade title came first.
