Thanks guys. ^^ I actually have a plan to make this a fan game after the level concepts are finished, as I myself would like to make this a game. A friend of mine was thinking about helping me after I finish the concepts. If I had to explain what I have planned so far it would go like this:
Gameplay: Every played a Sonic game? Ever played a Mario game? I bet you have. Ever played the pirate game Somari? Its a port of the game Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega Genesis onto the Nintendo Enertainment System with a twist. Instead of playing as Sonic, you play as Mario. Now ever since the release of New Super Mario Bros, (I live in USA, btw) I've been getting back into my Mario fandom. Then I remembered Somari. I started using my brain and then remembered Sonic 2 with Tails following. I made a hoax with an area resembling Chemical Plant Zone 2, slapped on a bg, added Mario, and a bunch objects. I then thought of Luigi, then I remembered the capes in Super Mario World, "what if Luigi had a one of a kind super strong cape, in which even when shrunken, sticks to him, but in order to fly, he needs to pick up a normal feather first." Powerups and the hidden areas we all remember and relived in NSMB would be at places where you aren't one the constant run. Then there was the question of how the hell Mario runs so fast all the sudden. Haven't thought that up yet. >>
Story: Not much is planned, but I may use Wart of the Millenium Star as the main enemy. But Bowser is still in, as one of the levels is Techno Koopa. Which I think that is an awseome name.
Sound: Nothin here yet.
Programming: Now theres the place where the game has to be made, I may use Game Maker, but it cost 20 bucks. MMF is good, but its 100 bucks, the demo version I have is good, but probaly lacks alot of features the real version has.
