This looks like a very nice package. I'm not sure if I'll upgrade. I'll probably be using 'real' programming languages more now. Even though I happen to be using MMF to make a game right now...

I really like the sound of scaling and rotating active objects. Layers seem like a rather heavy-handed way to get a bit of eye-candy (parallax scrolling... which can be done very well with Background System Boxes).

The new picture/animation editor looks very nice. But I'd probably keep using GraphicsGale anyway.

The extra window that shows an obects properties in the frame editor is brilliant. Should save much time.

Alpha channels... seems only useful for big fat images, not pixelcrafted stuff.

What I'd really like is for objects being dragged to remain looking like they actually do, rather than a frame or a useless icon. And bring back the TGF thing which lets you place down multiple objects by right-clicking.

If it could export to Both, .app and .exe, it would be just a grand mountain of sexiness.

What's .app?

(a quick Google search was uninformative... I'm still guessing... Apple Mac? Application?)

Mac OS X Application.
It'd be awesome for Mac users to at least try the MMF capabilities on their native Computer.

It's good for anti-aliasing that doesn't suck, and it should work well with the rotation

Exporting to other platforms would contain too much work for a program like Multimedia Fusion (2). As said by Clickteam.

I love the look of that image editor. Cause I use TGF for sprites moreso than anything else, lol. But will MMF2 have a point-and-click interface like TGF, or it's old drag-and-drop interface? Because I didn't like MMF's drag and drop object placement that much. :<

Ah well I'll stick with TGF (or MMF Express or whatever my version is called, I like saying TGF for some reason), since I'm the most comfortable with that anyway.

I have the demo of the games factory 2. I bought a book called "Make Amazing Games in Minutes", just to test it out. It was buggy as heck! I went to test my static engine (you know, using the sensor things, that are connected to a main object), and as soon as the bottom sensor touched the ground, the program had a fatal error sad.gif I tried it again, and again, but it just kept producing the same result sad.gif I'm sure they fixed it by now though. The scale function was pretty sweet though smile.gif

As awesome as it is it's really not hard to replicate in TGF, and especially not in MMF.
