Now WAIT. Listen.

Apparently, some wireless routers can run alongside wire routers. I would really like to get this, because my dad works over the computer all day, and he would rather have a more stable connection with a wire router. I would like to get a wireless router so that my mom and I can get the internet in our rooms. Internet + Room = Voice Chat. And Wifi. And porn.

My intelligence of routers equals retarded, so I would it would be just great if someone could throw out some suggestions. Hopefully within the price range of $50-$55.

So are you basicly looking for a Linksys WRT54G? Wireless-G router with builtin 4-port switch. ~$60.

There's also the cheaper B version, but with sucky speeds.

That sounds fabulous. I'm gonna look into it in a second.

I have a Cable internet connection, if that makes a difference. I'd like to keep my current speed, or faster. I didn't realize routers had anything to do with that. :|

Nevermind, everything's already sorted out, and I even found a nice $10 rebate on it.

Thanks, RII.

And Jak.
