It's a bird, It's a plane, IT'S SUPERMAN RETURNS!

Wow. I wasn't excited about this but it was a blast. Bryan Singer is a great director when it comes to super hero flicks. (He directed X-Men 1 and 2) This movie is so popular it already has a sequel being planned and being called the best super hero film ever. I don't think it's the best super hero movie ever, but it was really good.
First off, Kevin Spacey is awesome. He's kickass in this movie. But it was a bit hard to not laugh through the WRONG part due to YTMND. (Others laughed too) But wow, he's easily up there with my favorite villians. Brandon Routh, Superman himself, is great too. Plus Sam Huntington who brings a lot of humor to serious parts. The special effects aren't the best I've seen. They vary in degree of quality I think. Some were really bad and looked fake while others were much better. The story wasn't also very great, but it worked. It was something that kept my attention throughout. Plus, the movie didn't even feel long being 2 hrs. and 50 mins. The end was surprising, even if it didn't turn out to be all true. (You'll see what I mean) It's a good movie but not one I'll remember when I think of super hero movies.

Honestly, that's really annoying, even if it is sarcasm. Stop. :/

I saw it yesterday, it was pretty good. My mom and older sister commented on how the fight scenes, to them atleast, not sure on my opinion, was more "Batman Begins-ish" to them, in the sense of that it's more dark and icky, not that Superman fought like Batman in them. They also thought that Jimmy Olsen and that White guy should have had more screen time, though personally I didn't notice that the guy was Jimmy until they said so, yet even then I had a hard time noticing it. A good movie, despite some parts not exactly being the best.

In my opinion, the whole "Superman has a son" thing was cheesy. Plus, I kept thinking "Superman obviously won't die for good" throughout the scenes where it was strongly presented to you as though it will/has happen, and I was right, simply because Superman dieing would never happen, as Superman is good and Lex Luthor is evil, they have to follow by rule 1, "Good triumphs over evil, even if it seems like it won't".

That's certainly the main thing that makes me think me and Mario Gamer's taste in movies is most definitely not the same >.> I'm looking forward to the movie, but I have to say I'm not gonna be watching Click in any hurry...

On Dr. Laura's radio thing today(Mom's favorite, not mine) she was saying how it is a bad influence to kids because Superman has an illegitimate son and such. But isn't it like PG-13 or something?

Seriously, she's probably stupid, even though I never listened to her show because this is the first I've heard of her and her show. The sarcasm I typed up above seems more likely to happen than a guy getting illegitimate kids because Superman has one.

Apparently, you just automatically assume that people are going to know this is a review topic before viewing the topic even though the topic title isn't obvious. Unless you know Mario Gamer does this sort of thing.

As for this movie, Superman just sucks in general. I don't intend to see it.
