Asperger's Syndrome

I am currently under diagnosis for Asperger's Syndrome. This article seems to perfectly describe me IRL. Anyway, it's an interesting read. Gives you a lot of food for thought.

I have tourette's and OCD. But they're not nearly as bad as before.

Isn't Aspergur's considered a form of autism?

I have OCD, Social Anxiety, and extreme Depression, but I might be misdiagnosed. And yes Aspergur's is a form of autism but autism is a broad spectrum and a lot of kids with Aspergur's have high intellegence, but lack in some areas.

I think Einstein had Aspergur's.

I'm obsessive compulsive. Yesterday, I went to my friends house. He had a bunch of books laying on the floor. I organized them by size and put them back on his shelf. His mom wanted me to stay and organize the rest of the house. :p

I was diagnosed with Aspergur's in the first grade.

Yeah, usually it's diagnosed early in a child's life. I'm 15, so it was harder for my family to find someone that would diagnose me.

I've had it. I fit the bill totally.

I have post viral fatigue which screws up my immune system and puts me at risk of catching any illnesses going around.

Heh heh. This is a bit controversial for me.

One could argue that since I have no interest in sociality and therefore am not very pleasant in a crowd, I may have this disorder.

However, if I actually felt like it, I am certain I would probably be able to socialise without a problem. Therefore, I do not have a "lack of social skill" disorder so much as a "I hate people and want them to die except that one cute girl from 6th grade" disorder.

Aspergers... Interesting... I remember being tested at a university at age 6 and it was found that I had reading comprehension skills in the 11-year old age bracket, very superior writing skills, spelling, above average math skills, etc.

When I started school I couldn't relate to the other kids my age, in kinder I talked to the 4th, 5th and 6th graders because they could understand me. I understood what they learned in class, etc. I generally didn't get along with people my age throughout primary school that well and perhaps some of 7th grade. I had friends and all, but yeah. However I never had trouble relating to my friends who were gamers like me, who watched the same anime, etc. Nowadays I can relate to other people fine, especially if they have similar interests to those I have.
