QUOTE (Naoshi @ Jun 30 2006, 11:36 AM)
The hell? How come whenever I click "run application/frame" and NOTHING happens?

copy the mmfs2.dll to your data/runtime folder
that fixes the problem.

they forgot that little thing, saw it on the clickteam forums.

Hmm...I'm testing out The Games Factory 2, only probably I have with it is that it runs kinda clunky when doing test movement with active objects.

Pretty cool though.

Well, I tried the demo and I was very impressed on what they improve and the new features were awesome (layers make parralax easier). Too bad it's expensive and I only have $40 at the moment.

MMF2 rocks out loud! biggrin.gif

It would be awesome if there was an extension/update that would let you scroll layers independently and whenever you wanted... unless I missed something

EDIT: yes I did

now the Layer Object actually has something to do with layers

Helloo Clickteam?
Still making users use annoying extensions to make platform games?
The platform movement seems identical.

Absolutely no different from the distinction between MMF 1.5 and MMF 1.5 Pro.

Yeah but I like how in MMF 1.5 Pro you can change details of the final compiled EXE so it could have your name or your game dev team's name instead of Clickteam.

I just downloaded a demo of TGF 2, at the moment, i'm trying to fiqure out how to use the layers object to make paralax and such.

Good to see the choice of music formats has being expanded to mod and it files by default, good move clickteam.

And it looks like the platform engine is actually useable now, well, thats from my first impressions, no more stop dead glitches!

Hmmm... I get a 42% discount on MMF2 and 14% on Dev (I send my Pro serial).

Funny thing is, the current the price difference is €200. With the discounts, it's still €200. Seems they wanted to make it fair (cause, honestly, I was all like: WTF?! Only 14%?)
Ah well, still getting Dev.
