Oh boohoo. -_- It's just a dev, you can just get the regular MMF2 for 120 or better yet TGF2 for a much lower price than those two

I somehow doubt you didn't even read the things about MMF2, knowing your hate for clickteam.

You hate them for making a decent game-creation program and charging for it.

Few things in life are truly free, sonny boy. Remember that.

Mine arrived today.

Very pleased with it.

But unless you've never played the games that come with Klik N Play, The Games Factory or Multimedia Fusion, I wouldnt bother with the 2nd CD.

I want MMF2 dev. There are layers so you can make AWSOME paralax. At last I can put actives behind backdrops (Tired it on Demo)

You can do this in MMF2 Standard.

I've been playing with the demo since it came out and I think it might actually be good enough to replace both CnC and MMF1.5 - assuming people get off their butts and port all my favorite extensions to MMF2.

But yeah, I've been playing with that NSMB engine I released here a few months back in MMF2.

Additive Blending instead of the ugly "OR" is heaven sent for me. No more color distortion!

user posted imageuser posted image

Scaling isn't bad either. biggrin.gif

Have yet to really mess with the Frame Editor, though. Hopefully it'll be easier to use than MMF1.5's.

I'd post an EXE to goof around with, but... it's just the demo. =P

That's some pretty snazzy stuff, Blaze. Are you considering making anything out of your engine?

Right now? Probably not. Although whenever I'm done messing around with it, I'll stick the CCA... er... "MFA" up for download so you guys can do whatever you want with it.

Yeah, awhile back I remember I was fairly interested in dissecting your engine like a dead frog. I think it's more classy to make your own engine though, and I was hoping you were planning to do something in MMF2. :P

I will eventually. MMF2 seems good enough that I would probably start using it as my primary game-making program (rather than coding everything in CnC and then porting to MMF1.5).

If I could afford to use it, that is. If I had a registered copy I'd probably drop fiddling with this Mario engine and would go ahead and port Shadow of Chaos into MMF2. :P
