Emo Rant Topics, Should they be allowed?

I like my "online life" (PARADOX????) so I try not to pull it down to the **** level of real life by complaining about everything that bugs me, or being "emo" to people that don't give a ****. Telling people online probably won't help anyway. Sure it gets it off your chest but ****, without the actual face-face communication - knowing that the person you're telling understands and cares (impossible online, can't see facial expression or anything) - it's somewhat pointless.

But that's just what I think. I'm not exactly a fan of rant topics anyway.

Also, Emo rants generally lead to arguments, not the friendly kind either, and I assume we want to keep flaming off the boards.

Yes, I know I did, I was saying it what was on my mind in regards to the whole matter.

Honestly, myspace and livejournal...get some friends and have them stare at that crap all day. When I look at the general forum I expect to see some topics about everyday happenings in the world, video game stuff, television stuff, funny things..etc. Not this OMFG THIS GIRL LEFT ME FOR THE GUY WITH THE HUGER PEEPEE. And yes Dburnell you're trying to hard, just stop posting in this topic.

I'll stick with Klobber on the idea of maybe we should open a board so people can vent on there rather than fill the GD full of it.

I have experienced harsh times when I was a child. I thought of suicide every now and then, and even attempted homicide. However, I managed to hold myself back, and prevent those from ever happening.

This generation's youth is rapidly maturing compared to our generation. This means they face relationships, serious friendships, and emotions. However, they also need to learn how to control themselves, and should never emit any anger. Not even online. And it's terrible to post "vents' on message boards filled with people of various age.

My vote goes to "No."

If there's a seperate forum for rants, it should automatically send you to Livejournal.

It just pisses me off when people destructively critizize me for no reason.

I'm sorry, I have very text-sensitive eyes. See, I write stories, so when other people write bad stories, my eyes become enflamed and are prone to exploding. Let me tell you, nothing hurts worse than having your eyes spontaneously rupture on you. And the mess you have to clean up...all because some half-baked moron took a bath in the Cliché and Bad Grammar Pool and peed in it, then drank the water. The same sort of thing happens to me for emo topics, except you don't wanna know what people have done in the Emo Pool.

When you're on the internet you should think of it as a party, you're supposed to talk about happy,funny,stupid and cool things not about how much you hate your life. People from africa have it much worse but you don't see them making rant topics. I mean, if you have a computer you don't havee the right to complain about how much your parents suck or your girlfreind dmped you after three weeks of dating. Now, when a family member or a freind passes away it's diffrent. You can post about that.

I don't know why but that made me laugh so ****ing much.

I've said no, but on the forum where I admin, me and the other staff decided to make a "personal problems" section, and everyone goes there for a good moan :P but the m2k forum which it's called is a little more for general discusion.

There is a diffrence in the lights on the screen. One is a bunch of angry ranting written in code called "English". The other lights are interpreted are actually a personal attack in a type of code called "Jagoffish" which happens to be written and used by internet idiots who like to demean random people on the internet. Which happens to include you in the offensive part.

Yea don't care. I'm using you as an example because you made at least 2 of the topics in question in the past like week, and then you're trying to jump into the topic and pretend like you're not an offender.

We could if they didnt take up precious headline firstpage space anymore. Give them a forum for that crap or something.
