It's just like mine? Awkward.

Tri's Filled up my screen and i run 1280x1024.


I think it's just a General Size thing, if it ends up being Bigger than what is felt to be too big, it should be reduced.

Now as for image count, the more images there are the longer it takes to load, No matter the size, of course a 3 meg image is going to take a while but 50 smaller images would take longer than that.

Personally I'd also go for the following:

500 x 80 pixels maximum for signature.
Less than 100 kb for both signature and avatars.
64 x 64 pixels maximum for avatars.

Of course nobody would stand for this, but I think it's not only dial-up friendly but still allows enough room for a "unique" look to each member.

It'd be amazing if this could somehow be developed as an alternate "56k" mode that would be toggled in the control options, but I'm not sure such a thing is possible with Invision. And if it is possible, it'd probably take quite a bit of development.

And I'm not sure you read that this would be an alternate set of signatures and avatars, I know there's no way you would compromise your signature full of amateur movie reviews.

That's true, I think that keeps the most unruly signatures in line. I just hate when people throw hissy fits over it by making their signature have retaliatory text in them.

I think the only editting, if any, that should occur is removal. Edit a polite warning in if need be. If they continue to ignore the warning, ban them. Don't vandalise their signature.

Vandalising their signature for amusement would be hypocritical. I don't think ANY mod should partake in it. You know my stance on it.

Yeah, it is a little uncalled for, even if somebody was commiting a huge offense by having such an unruly beast for a signature.

So I guess I'm pretty much in accordance with the "King" here. Plain vanilla removal will work just fine.

I think it'd be even better to PM that person to remove it themselves. That way they don't lose anything in it. If they don't reply in a day or so then remove it yourself.

But of course if it's something like a huge image then it should be removed right away.

as for kenshin's avtar size. 64X64.....
