Pokemon D/P news and discussion

Ru/Sa already took the first step in the whole physical/special thing. Like what attacks would result in effects by things like effect spore. Spark is an electric tackle, it's still special though, but you can get paralyzed etc. from attacking, say, a Pikachu or Breloom. SO it's not that big of a change.

Also why the hell is ghost physical I learned that this year too because I just assumed it's special. Dark seems physical.

they need to show us the new starters (and make an evolution of Sudowoodo that would look similar to the Great Deku Tree)

I don't know if the fighting, psychic, and dark idea works too well. I mean psychic doesn't effect dark at all. Though, those are awesome types.

Though, a Pokemon with moves all the same type ain't going to do much good anyway. Most psychics at least carry two normal type moves. Or one.

Too bad most psychic suck with normal moves, but actually, the new special moves idea might help with that.

Yeah, the type thing doesn't really matter later in the game anyways.

Well crunch and bite would seem like they were physical to me. Dark attacks suck though, they're just not powerful enough. My Tyranitar always get's his ass kicked because crunch doesn't do enough damage.

I saw some other new Pokemon while I was at some anime centre in Akihabara

I never played the Advance version... only LeafGreen.

Emerald is better in terms of features. The animations really make pokemon come to life.

Most of Emerald's animations seem to involve enlargement and like... jumping. I like my Pinsir in that version though. The 8th ym leader was annoying. His Kingdra I mean. I made it use up all of its moves.

Same here. And the same happened with the champion's god damn Ludicolo. I HATE double team.

Anyway on the topic of pokemon, does anyone have any shiny ones? I caught a shiny golbat the other day. Now he's a girly pink Crobat.
