Julie-Su. Different coloring

I wanted to try a different coloring job, and I decided to try it on a headshot of Julie-Su.

Sometimes smooth gradient coloring can look kind of cheap, but you gave it a good lighting direction, so it doesn't look like the usual "pillow shading". It works out very well, especially how you did the purple parts.

Did it take long to color it this way? =X

Considering that Spaz has somehow gotten worse at doing cover art, and they never seem to give J. Axer any f**king work at all... I agree.

I guess it looks alright for gradient. I prefer your usual shading though. ;X

I'm going to be honest. I think that shading style is ugly.

I like regular shading over that style.

Someone inform me... wtf does "The world's most way past cool comic!" even mean?!

I hope I didn't come off as making it sound all bad; I think the shading looks pretty good on the purple parts like I said, I just guess it just doesn't seem to work well with skin. If you mixed it with some other textures, I'm sure it'd come off even better.
