Recently, this forum has been flooded with topics dedicated to single sprite submissions. I have no problem with you posting previews to unfinished sprites in which you are working on, just NOT IN THIS FORUM. Why?
This is the submit-it forum, meaning it is intended for sprites, games, or any other fangaming resource IN WHICH YOU ARE SUBMITTING FOR ADDITION TO THE MFGG WEBSITE. As you know, we will not accept undersized submissions.
By undersized submissions, I mean sprites with very few frames of animation - too few as of to be useable. BUT, I am not saying to submit only insanly huge sprite sheets/libraries. Yes, you CAN submit a sheet/lib of one object, as long as it has an ample amount of animation.
For ripped sprites, I won't mind a small amount of animation AS LONG AS THAT ANIMATION IS ALL THE OBJECT HAS TO OFFER.
Even so, with a single sprite containing a few frames, you could include some similar objects as well. For example, if you were submitting a sprite of a Goomba, you could include some other enemies as well, such as Koopas, ShyGuys, etc. But if you do this, please don't go too diverse (like having Mario, Goombas ? Blocks, and all kinds of other stuff in one sheet/lib) with the sprites. These are usually accepted however, although I would prefer if you kept only similar sprites together. This makes categorizing easier; and I want to have MFGG as nicely categorized as possible.
You are still free to post sprite previews however, just keep them to PPP or GC to avoid clutter in here. Any sprites lacking in frames will be deemed unfinished and thus moved.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for your cooperation.
