Have you ever played Wario land 4, and if so how was it

I was thinking about buying it so I wanna know what others think about it

I downloaded the rom and played it for 3 seconds. It wasn't as good as WL3. What a waste of time.

I lend it from my friend! It was good, but it won´t last longer than moth or two. Well, I haven´t played other warioland games, so I advice hearing more thougths of WL4.

WarioLand 4 is not an easy game and especially when you´re playing at s. hard.

Don't listen to them. It's easily the best in the series.

Mason just doesn't like it because you can actually die unlike WL3.


The graphics are great too.

Super Mario Land 3 or gtfo.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, it just... bored me after beating WL3.

Interestingly enough, Wario Land 4 was the first game since "Wario Land Virtual Boy" that was directed by the classic R&D1 development team - Nintendo's first development house - and as so, it feels much more rightly like a new installment in the series than Wario Land 2 and 3 did.

Complaints about the slow pace of the 2nd and 3rd game caused an entire engine rennovation with Wario Land 4 - or more or less so, seeing as how Wario Land 4 is a molestation of the Super Metroid/Metroid Fusion engine. The game is more "down to earth" than the other games, features a bizzare soundtrack, montrous boss battles, and a 'hard' hard mode.

I wouldn't call it the best in the series either, considering that the ability in the Virtual Boy game to travel between background and foreground was awesome, but it certainly feels more like a fast-paced platformer than the two prior games did.

It's a great game. Although the music is awful, the level designs are good and expansive, boss battles are long (and quite hard), the graphics are nicely designed and the engine is awesome. (why do I sound like I'm reviewing a fangame?). Get it if you can. I found my copy of WL4 a few days ago, unfortunately all my saves are lost

I liked WL3 tons better. More puzzling and crap. This was just too much like any mario game out there.

I liked it lots. I'd recommend it.

It's a great game. Since it's only about $20 now, I highly reccomend buying it. It's short, though...

Not to mention it's only 10 dollars used if you have a Gamestop or EB Games around.

Wario land 3 was terrible.

Varying opinions on Wario Land 4 (which I enjoyed throughly) aside, can we all agree that Wario World was an incredibe dissapointment?

Wario World had awesome boss fights.

I haven't played Wario World because it doesn't look very good and I don't like GC-games very much ...
Wario Land 4 is great imo, not so many levels but good and challenging ones.

The best of the series was the very first Wario Land, aka Super Mario Land 3
