It's just that both sides of that argument make some really valid points so I'm not sure what to do. I don't guess there would be any harm in trying it to see how well it fares.

If we did it, all "MFGG-related" art topics would go in there - I'll draw you/sprite you/MLize you/I drew Delmore/MFGG group pics/etc.

I agree with most of this topic, and such. Like this:

Most people are literally teens, which surprised me, seeing how some act mature/childish than they are "expected". This can be very annoying, especially those who are adults acting like 10 year olds.

C+C is not always asked for, but it should be recieved in a positive way. Discussions have been made of this, and s lot more has been said. All I think is: expect people to point out mistakes, and dislike it. Just because someone said "fail" doesn't mean it is fail, it's just his opinion.

Popular members, all forums have those. But it shouldn't get to the point of worship, and idolisim. They're just ordonary people like you or I. Gee, I get sick of this stuff. I know I'm not very popular, and I don't know ALL the reasons, but I'm still trying my best at whatever I do. Comps, Games, art, whatever!

Yes, the standards for fangames have been hightened and can be annoying. These homade games should not be compared to other games that are obviously better. It's just good, or terrible. SMB3 V1.2 wasn't my best game, but I'm still proud of it. It also didn't get much...whatever. What made it "medeocre" was that fact that I based it off of SMB3, one of the greatest Mario games ever. In short (or long) I try not to compare things to other things...or something like that. [/rant]

Inflated egos on the forums should probably be warn-worhty.

I haven't really seen a lot of cases of this, but the people who do do that usually get yelled at by the members

What I don't like is people that pick on people just to look cool. It irks me to see someone get harrassed in every topic they make just because they're "hated by the general community." A good example is Mechant. Although people DID finally shut up about him, they were way too late.

And Itokazu is right. The standards for fangames are much too high. People expect every fangame to be a Mario Pipe Network. Face it, not all fangames are going to be Nintendo quality. Just have fun with them.

And about the assholes, yes, I know there are a lot of teenagers, but that doesn't give them the excuse to be total **** bags most of the time. Oh, and I hate it when a member acts like God and expects to be worshipped. What suprises me is that it actually works, and people do worship them.

Oh... and if the drawing thing was directed at me, I wasn't trying to gain popularity. I just like getting drawn. But I do understand where you come from, there are some people that think "# of drawings = popularity", and "no1 draws u gtfo." I don't like members like that. Oh, and I've died down on asking for drawings.

About girls... the flirting has died down a bit, but the girls' topics are still the most popular. Not that this is a bad thing.

Oh, I hate that a couple of the "oldbies" act like they're so elite that they can do whatever they want. That's annoying.
