New Isometric Collaboration?, GO FOR BROKE

The SMRPG one seems to have been a poor idea, as evidenced by it's burial in the GC even after an attempted revival when it reached Page 6. I personally apologize for voting for it, I had not anticipated such a great lack of interest. I certainly don't possess the will to usher the next competition, but I would very much like to see another one. We can't let this thing die, it's too awesome for that.

Any thoughts? Any volunteers?

But seriously (even though I was serious about Metroid), I wouldn't mind it not being restricted to just Mario, especially because you don't get badges for these or anything and it's just a fun little community project.

These aren't really "official" like the drawing and sprite comps are so I see no problem with doing a different theme from Mario; given Mario's been done twice now part of the reason people may not be entering is that they're just not interested in doing something Mario-related again and spicing it up with something new could revive interest
