| QUOTE (Someguy @ Aug 23 2006, 04:44 PM) | | It's Secret of the Rings, which makes it not sound too bad. Too bad it's so hard to hear the music, I can't tell if it's Sonic Rush style or if I misheard that it's the same composer. |
Hideki Naganuma did the music for Sonic Rush, as well as Ollie King and a large portion of the music for the Dreamcast release of Jet Grind Radio (the GBA version didn't involve him at all) and Jet Set Radio Future. The music for Sonic SotR doesn't fit his style at all, so I doubt that he'll be involved in this project.
I roffled when Sonic said "Finally, something interesting!" as if Sonic 06 were unoriginal.
Also, as much of a fan of Tails and Espio as I am, I'm glad this looks like a Sonic-goes-solo game. Since Sonic Team lacks the capability to balance a story with multiple characters, even if they're NPCs, keeping a low cast would work heavily in their favor until they can remedy the problem.

Hands up if you have NO idea how this game plays? Because half of you seem to think it's another Sonic Adventure type game, when that's completely and utterly wrong. It's more of an on-rails game, in which you tilt the controller left and right to move Sonic left and right. It's more like an arcade game, but don't let the apparent simplicity fool you, every source i've read said it's REALLY fun. Seriously, don't judge it because it's 3D. Go read some write-ups about how it plays. http://wii.ign.com/articles/707/707191p1.htmlThere's one. As for the music, it sounds like Runblebee, the guys who did the music for Sonic Riders, it sounds MOST like the theme song for the Babylon Rogues, that style, especially the lyrics. I quite like it, it's very fast paced and fits with the game. This post has been edited by KritTheRed on Aug 23 2006, 10:33 PM
