That is one of the most missunderstood parts of the bible. You see that they had to break down some resistance, and that attack took less than a day to acomplish. And when thinking about the immence country they conquered they felt like the sun stood still. And the horns that they used was no ordinary horns. You know how a well trained singer can crack a crystal glass with her voice. The horn generated super amplified ultrasounds that caused the walls to fall. And yet today military is experimenting with super amplified ultrasound...

It survived as a mainstream name due most likely to it's religious significance. Considering how religious Europe was for the majority of the first millenium, it's not so surprising.
