Well for Europe that is dunno if it will be worldwide Slogan.

BUH-HURN!

It made me laugh.

Is it one of those metephorical "well, after you've blown so much money on our system you'll appreciate your life more"?

Or maybe after spending all that you don't have much else to really live for.

The font makes it look like it'd better fit a restaurant from the 60's.

Oh, and before anybody asks about the font - Sony's not dumb enough to know that the only way to appeal to a European audience is to plague streets with Playstation 3 ads and slogans that tout a similar font as that seen on marmalade jars and crumpet boxes.

So yes a machine that plays video games with amazing graphics and has DVD capabilities is going to improve my life.

I'd have to have a pretty sad life for that to happen.


PS: Did they learn nothing from upgrading their Playstation 2 to the slim model? My god, that console's thicker than the original PS2. :/

Looks like the sort of slogan that's font changes depending on the advert...

Ha ha.

The slogan's font doesn't quite look like the one I'd expect to see on a video game console to be honest.

So the PS2's slogan was "Live in your world, play in ours" and now the PS3's is "This is living"? Am I the only one who's slightly creeped out by this?

Well, I think that Sony really is effed-in-the-a with the fact of basicly no launch titles, so to upstage the Wii and 360 they release ficticious videos of graphics (*cough*Killzone 2*cough*), try to rip off ideas (no rumble, only tilt bull**** anyone?) and try to use catchy and easy to remember slogans. They really can't do anything right, so they screwed up in almost all fronts. By doing the first two they disinfranchise themselves so people don't respect the company and also feel personally affended that Sony could think people are so stupid as to buy into any gimick. For the slogan, it is really just ridiculous. Is it living to spend to much on a consol with practicly no launch games? Is it living to be lied to about gameplay videos? Is it living to pay 600$ for a blu-ray dvd player? I think not.

Pus, the lettering is totally gay.
