For all you pokemon netbattlers

I was bored tonight, and I made these little sig bars. (I didn't upload all of them at once, I just put them into one file, if you want to use one feel free to crop it out.)

I was thinking along the lines of the MKDS star ranking system sig pictures we used to have. The rankings I pretty much based off of my exposure to you and how good I've seen you play. If you don't agree with a description or a ranking feel free to bring it up with me. This is just my perception.

The ranking goes like this:

X > S > A > B > C > D

To be an X, you have to have that really rare ability to like constantly come up with the perfect schemes and act on them all the time, be really really goddamn good to the point that it's evil. I've only given pokehero an X so far.

I'm completely against this idea; rating things is a way of labeling someone with a pretty banner and thinking you're cool for doing that because it's "sophisticated". Also, it's based purely on opinion, and there really is no way to judge a person's skill fairly.

Simple in design, and even though I think photoshop filters and slapping on some artwork is "shallow" and not considered artwork, IT STILL LOOKS NICE :(

Instead of ranking them, why not just use their wins/losses/ties?

Make Salad a D and slap a magikarp on that bad boy for her.

Pretty nifty idea, and they look nice as well! ^^

well "sigable do-dad" sounds like one of those "oh gee let's be cool and add this" things XD

I'd agree with win/lose record too for this sort of thing, a ranking system ... you can't really judge and rank. I hate giving things a 1 to 10 rating etc :s

Just ... kinda reminds me of the "guys i'll rate u in my topic" **** that went on in the PPP before XD

And again, I'm not going at this like "Player X is better than Player Y because he has a better rank." In fact, I was actually thinking of this in terms of the individuals, and not like, ordering everyone from best to worst, That would suck. D:

This actually came around because I found myself sometimes talking about how I was about to fight a "higher grade trainer" than I am, so I would be nervous. Because I didn't think I was going to stand up tp Omega at all when I battled him.So I guess I just expanded on that. :x

It's the same thing though, "higher grade trainer" would be viewed as better than the lower ones XD
rankings always end up hurting someone's feelings it seems, remember all the disasters and black holes created by those topics in the PPP

But seriously, what the hell? This is a really stupid idea. I mean, I know I'm like a F-- and I'm not mad about that, but this is really mean. Rating people is just a way to get everyone to argue with each other.

Also I demand that I be made one of these signatures with a Wobbuffet and a F-- as my ranking

...why do I even bother anymore?

Then why did the MKDS sigs last quite a while?

Seriously, if you've got something againist Parakarry's Idea, then explain what it is, PK will fix it, and together you shall acquire perfection.
If you don't have anything positive commentary to say, then I suggest just keeping your mouth shut.

Also so I don't get yelled at; as I said in aim I like the proposition of this and support it as a sig fad.

BTW I love how i'm known for my latios. :>

If pokemon red and blue was the current game of today, I would get an XXX score, considering that I beat everyone at a pokeconvention with a venasaur against thousands and thousands of mewtwos when I was little :p

Oh and I've decided that I'm letting other people choose their level. I was talking with Omega last night. But they have to be honest and detached.
