How many people here ACTUALLY like Mario?

I've seen so many people here saying stuff like "the mario plot sux" or "i dont liek mario anymoer". So I ask my self, how many people here ACTUALLY like Mario? Why come here if you don't like the games (Even though we barely talk about Mario at all)? How did you find this place if you don't like Mario/Nintendo/etc? Answer justly.

Just because some people don't like a certain aspect or a certain game (or games) in the Mario series does not mean they do not like Mario.

Most, if not all, people were drawn to this place because they liked Mario. Even though they do just use this forum to... discuss everything but.

You are talking of the character Mario all by himself. But I believe MFGG is centered around the Mario universe, not just the red plumber in general.

Personally, yeah, I like Mario. Then again, I like Link and Luigi better. I'm here for the fangames and interaction between members...yeah, thasit.

Thunder is referring to the Mario franchise. Not just the character.

So far I like Mario, but I like the other characters much better.
The reason why I'm here is because of sprites, I join here a year and half ago because I just started to sprite...er...edits, then there is the PPP, but now I bearly post anything here beside sprites

but pokemon sucks. Its the same story line every game (get 8 badges. beat some guy. game over.)

It's not the story which makes it awesome.

Mmm well I wouldn't even call a pokemon gameplay "gameplay". It's more stratergy and personal prefrence with lots of things. In all, it's just a big database with lots of numbers.

...This is a stupid topic. I'm sorry, but there is no way anyone here besides the trolls doesn't like Mario.

Also, what plot? Mario doesn't even HAVE a plot anymore. Each game brings up a new hole or contradiction in the plot. Take bowser's size for example. In the first game he's as big as mario, and in sunshine he's sgfsdg huge.

That's because the NES wasn't powerful enough to have a hugenormous Bowser. Also the reason Peach had brown hair in SMB 1-3, why Goombas only had one sprite (that was flipped), etcetera.

Of course I bloody like Mario! :D

I like Mario games more than Mario. I also like Zelda, Metroid, Worms and Doom -games. I don´t like pokemon, because "choose a move and there´s the skills you need" - gameplay
