New Sonic 06 trailer, Looks very actiony, but a bit cliche'

I don't understand how optional vehicles for one character makes the game bad.

It won't make the game bad, but it will (If controling them sucks) make Shadow's gameplay bad.

But... they're optional. I don't get that at all.

We don't know that, but they most likely are it's possible that you need them for some parts. Though if his levels suck I'll just play Sonic's, as IMO they look extremely fun. Also, I'm getting used to that theme song Though it's kind of sad to see Crush 40 gone :<

Dude, Shadow was a failure ever since he was revived. There's no chance in hell he can get any better unless they remove him entirely, which is unlikely with the fanbase he's created.

It's not really any different than grabbing an eagle like Sonic did in the trailer though. I wouldn't be surprised if Sonic could hop in a vehicle as well.

Silly requirements like riding so-and-so have been in Sonic games since Sonic Adventure.

Honestly I don't see any point to any alter ego character. Shadow and Silver both.

But since Shadow's gameplay is practically the same as Sonic's except for optional vehicles (we don't even know that Sonic won't be using them too) and possibly more combat based levels, I don't understand what the hell you guys are complaining about.

So Shadow is a cliche character with a ****ed up storyline. Big deal. XD

If I see Sonic in vehicles this is instant fail. It's bad enough Shadow has.

Sonic's already had experience driving in Sonic Drift and all the new 3D games. XD

And don't forget Twinkle Park.

Not really, Sonic Drift was a spin off and the only vehicle was that bobsled in Sonic Heroes in which they HAD to use to crash into crap. I could be wrong though. Anyway, the game looks nice and I hope it lives up to my expectations.

This theme song just sucks. :l
1% hyped for this, 99% hyped for other stuff.

Because theme songs>Gameplay m i rite!

I don't really like it either. Also, why did they make the graphics realistic if there's going to be cartoony scenes and sound effects (See beggining of trailer).

Because it's a blue hedgehog with a freaky smile for God's sake.

Why do the textures on the hedgehogs still look like crap btw

and why does Silver's design exist

I think Sonic is the only well modeled character so far (In-game graphics wise), Shadow looks like something on the PS2 as does Silver. Though the CG is lovely and I'm glad the graphics look good, I just hope the gameplay is nice.

Okay, I'm probably confusing this with a hoax or something, but about a year ago, didn't we see some ****ed up footage of Sonic throwing ring capsules or something? What happened to that?

Emerald Coast remade in next gen quality! Awesome! I hope we see some REALLY classic levels remade.
