F**king AWESOME

I was randomly searching Google to see if any other news sites picked up the press release for RFLegends, and I stumbled upon this.

RFLegends is a bit pricey on Amazon compared to Lulu, so I'd recommend buying it from me on Lulu as opposed to Amazon.

But this is awesome nonetheless. It's awesome to just go to Amazon and see my book RIGHT THERE on the screen.

Edit: Barnes and Noble also picked it up.

A lot pricier on Amazon and B&N (as you said), but that must be pretty cool to see your product there.

I get $1.86 royalty for each book and apparently, I just sold like 6 more copies in addition to the two I sold, so now I have about $14.88 in royalties.

Aren't you supposed to get more than that.

I'm not asking this to be a dick or anything, I'm just curious: has anybody you don't know actually purchased the book yet, or has it been friends and family so far?

Yeah I thought it was way more than that, like 5 bucks at least. Maybe I'm wrong though, or just being greedy. I don't really expect to make a lot of money when I do it, I just want to be able to hold a shiny published version in my hand (and yes I have seen an actual Lulu printed comic, and they are very shiny and proffessional looking)

The six copies that were just sold, I have no idea who bought them. My guess is that my school's bookstore purchased them.

The thing is, in order to sell books, I have to do a lot of the marketing myself.

Edit: As for the question regarding royalties, the finished product came to about $13.00 without markup, but this is because the book ended up being so big. By Volume 3, I should be downsizing, though, so I should be able to spike my royalty a bit.

Whoa, they can be bought now?

You were actually able to buy them from Lulu for a while now, but the larger online retailers are starting to pick them up.

I would expect to make more money.

But I'm a greedy b*****d who wouldn't just do it "for the love of it"
