My brother (sort of) witnessed a kidnapping

I might be getting the details wrong on this story, but apparently my brother was driving from work to his friend's house when he passed an automobile wreck involving a white truck. After he had driven down the road a bit, he looked in the rearview mirror and noticed the white truck was suddenly gone. He told this story to my mom when he called her.

Shortly after, my mom noticed an Amber Alert had been issued for the area. Apparently, a man in a white truck had rammed the vehicle of his ex-wife. He then got out of the vehicle and kidnapped their 8-month-old daughter.

So yeah. Kinda creepy.

Wow. Scary ****. Seriously!

Wait, so he tried/did kill his ex-wife and then stole HIS daughter?

As weird as it is, it just doesn't sound right to me. I'm probably just really stupid or overanalyzing this.

I don't know if he killed his wife or if he was even trying to, but he did kidnap the daughter, yes.

Hmm... your brother may have to go to court sometime.

I don't think he would have any information that would be useful (they already know what the vehicle looks like).

Wow... I'd witnessed a guy try to drag this 20-something year old girl in a car, we called the police later on as he tried to kidnap another woman. In his car was a sledgehammer and an axe. o.o
