I'd try, but I'm thinking about recent events, where people simply don't see/get offended by, sarcasm or jokes.

Those two usually end up making a mess, and thus should be disallowed, or should we take the chance and hope people will be courteous?

Then they leave. And if it become a concern then they'll either report it somewhere and get denied with ease or fail trying to make a point on the forums.

And WHO THE HELL gets offended by languages?

Oh and NO Body, just for the record i'm sure if that something happened about the hitlery rules they'd inform you first.

Actually, you'd be surprised. I was working in the toy department at Walmart and we have these bilingual toys in the educational section. This lady walks by, shakes her head and says "God forbid they learn the English language".

Hmm well I haven't gotten any complaints on the Nazi-related avatars, maybe if anyone was seriously offended it would be an issue, but it seems kinda pointless to me to debate about it when nobody's really gotten offended and when the people who DO have them aren't trying to be offensive (as far as I can see anyway).

As long as they're not obviously trying to be offensive/edgy, I don't really see a problem with it. Technically it's a racist symbol but...well now we're just arguing in circles, like I said I haven't seen anyone get offended about it, and we have some Jewish members here, I think they can see the difference between someone making a joke and someone having genuine anti-semitic ideals.

Don't forget that it might stop new members arriving and browsing the forums, and i'm sure theres something you can do about it if you see offensive stuff like that posted somewhere on the internets.

well I doubt she was offended, she was probably just being racist herself.

Btw, I request this topic to be locked. The goal of this topic was to fix up the filter and give the mods something to think about regarding the racist stuff on this forum. This is just going to go on forever unless it stops now so yeah.

Up to you guys if you want to change the rules s'more.
