Your genes make everything you think or do up, so it is in my genes. My thinking is a result of my genes. Homophobia doesn't have to do with insecurity, it is just I don't agree with it and I find it disgusting.

Your genes have nothing to do with your personality. They only determine your physical attributes and motor functions, while what you experience and are told as a child and everything is what molds your personality. I'm guessing homosexuality is a combination of a different chemical balance in the brain (which pushes them towards one side of the spectrum, in a way) and perhaps things they pick up when children.

Okay one thing that annoys me a lot also is how flamboyant a lot of gays are. Not to mention they say they want to be treated like heterosexuals yet they have parades? What is that? Get rid of your stupid parade and stop acting like everyone cares that you are gay and I'll keep to myself.

Yeah because a few people have gay parades all gays are flamboyant and they give you a reason to hate them.

We have parades because you have your Westboro.

They do, but only a little bit. It is very easily overwritten by experiences and how you are raised.

Of course, parents will raise their children to act a lot like them, usually without meaning to, so the children often have their parents' personalities. This could arguably have to do with genes as well.

I dislike flamboyant heterosexuals as well.

There's a lot of flamboyant people who aren't gay. And they have parades because they don't think they're being treated fairly... I'd have a problem with the parades if they still happen when they are socially accepted. It's like the "Orange Marches" that go on over here; it's just a load of protestants who feel the need to proclaim they exist, and it almost always ends in riots, so nothing is gained from it.

Uh guys, I just want to say that if you state anything as a fact than please post references and sources because I'd like to read this stuff for myself before believing anything. I HAVE done my own research before, but many of the things stated in this thread I haven't heard of before.

I just know that my "quirk" wasn't caused by my genes, and that I think I picked it up when I was a child.

And if you don't like it when people act flamboyantly, fine. But don't pin it all on homosexuals...

You're a fool, Westboro is a hate group that hates generally everybody besides straight whites. Not to mention a pride parade and a hate group have no relations at all. So go read up before you pull facts out of your ass.

The smell thing makes sense because other organisms send off "pheremones?" or something like that to attract mates.
