Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, SPOILERS!

Btw is there some sort of pokedex or thing on here? And what sounds do the pokemon make?

Just to clarify:
Anyone ever played that Super Nintendo japanese rom called Monstania? This works a lot like that, but not isometric and faster.

Basically, you move your pokemon and your friend follows you. Say you encounter an enemy. You move one, he'll move one. You attack, he moves one. Wait for him to approach you, then attack!

You can use a weak tackling attack any time by pressing A, it doesnt use PP. Or you can open up your moves list and choose from there, including the true Tackle, which does a lot more.

You can pick up Oran berries and other power items, but you can only carry like 20 things at a time.

And the story is interesting too... turns out there is a reason that you were summonded to be like this... I don't know what it is yet, the reason is being explained slowly but surely in a particular ever-reccurring scene...

I mean I know about the test, but I think it was Gamespot that mentioned who you could play as in Blue and Treecko or Chikorita weren't mentioned.

I took the test on the official site. I'm a Treecko! Guess my personality....

I was really excited about this since the whole concept of a Pokemon action RPG seemed really awesome and the special they played on Cartoon Network was cool, but I played the GBA version at Toys R Us and the battle system just made me think "wha?". From what I played it seemed like it was turn-based, but you fought battles seamlessly instead of going in and out of a seperate battle screen like most RPGs. I'm sure I'll adjust to the battle system whenever I get the game and spend more time with it, though.

Dammit now I've got Killer Queen stuck in my head.

This game is bloody addicting.

Sometimes, when I go to bed for the day, I find myself in a dream sequence. At first, I just heard what sounded like pokemon talking, but then I woke up after that. The next time it happened. I only heard that they were talking about what my purpose in this world was. But after that, I couldn't identify anything else. The next time the dream happened, I saw Gardevoir. She looked like she was trying to tell me something, but I woke up after that. So it looks like Gardevoir is trying to tell me something about my purpose in this world, and I'm sure it will be a critical reason.

All three starters from each generation are starters for this, as well as Pikachu, Psyduck, Cubone, Meowth, Eevee, Skitty, and I think a few others that I can't be arsed to remember.

Who you start as is figured out via a quiz at the beginning of the game.

Holy crap, gamespot gave the game a 5.4.
