kaillera matchmaking heaven, i bet nightwing's gonna flip over this

this topic will be for people to list the games and emulators they play through kaillera and hopefully coordinate matches with each other. the way it works is that you list the emulators you use (remember to state the version number and preferably give a download link), the multiplayer games you'd like to play in it (remember, there are many different, incompatible versions of the same game out there so read the guidelines below to make sure things go smoothly), how people can contact you to get a game going, the region of the country you live in (e.g. southern usa, london area of the uk, and so on), and the type of connection you'll be playing on (56k, dsl, cable, t1, etc.) also if you have problems playing with certain people/on certain servers/using certain ports, please explain them in detail so that the people you play with can try to find a workaround for them.

ok people, i got the green light from jeff and klobber to make this topic, but since it's a touchy subject we'll need to lay down some guidelines to keep it from going to the pits of hell, and to make everyone's playing go smoother:

* no direct links to roms in here. direct links to emulators are fine (and in fact necessary) and for most games everyone needs to have the exact same version of the rom (more on this later), but please, sort this out with the people you play with in private.

* most games are touchy about whether the proper rom is being used, requiring that everyone's rom have the same name, release version, region, filesize, etc. some emulators will give you detailed information on the rom you have. also, to check the rom's filesize in windows, right-click on it, select properties, and the size (NOT the size on disk) field will tell you how big it is in bytes.

* the above is especially true for arcade games (cps1/2, neo-geo, and so on), so for these please list the exact and full title of the game as well as the filename. for example, according to kawaks, super street fighter 2 turbo is actually "Super Street Fighter II Turbo (World 940223)", has a filename of "ssf2t", and a parent rom (these are important) with a title of "Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (World 930911)" and a filename of "ssf2".

* please keep your list of games and emulators organized, and make sure to specify all the necessary details as explained above.

My AIM's KamikazetheUkiki. I do like a good co-op game. 'Specially one of those Disney Magical Adventure games. Or Kirby Superstar. Me and Robby tried to make that one work once, but...it didn't go so well.
